Flying just became less pleasant

I can't count how many times two of us have checked a bike at the ticket counter and each of us paid a different amount while on the same flight.



Looks like things just got worse.

I think you should be charged by or allotted a certain weight. Luggage or body weight, you get X amount. Or make it volume based? Its ironic that fossil fuels which made the world so small are about to make it quite large again. We've built the country around cheap fuel, driving 30 miles each way doesn't warrant a second thought...but are you going to volunteer for something when you're killing $10 a day in the car? How long before habits change? Driving wise, not flying. I mean, you don't want me to change, too, do you?
