Kicking it MTV Spring Break Latin America Style
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL!

It was pure Todd Wells yesterday. Cheap beer, dancing contests, a party barge parked next to us with Boriqua DJs and a whole lotta dancing that was in some cases, just plain wrong.

There were so many rows of boats tied together that in order to go for a swim, or hit the beach, you'd have to swim around 50 boats just to find open water.

Getting out to Palomino Island was the fun part...Luis and I took the long way around the coast from Guaynabo on the bikes to Fajardo. Having just received the new Scalpel before leaving, and needing to race it at Terlingua this weekend, it was like La Ruta revisited...sawing away hours and hours of pavement on the knobbies.

Once at the marina, the World's Biggest Fork Lift put the boat in the water...

which was then driven by the World's Smallest Driver...

which he piloted through 15miles of horrendous swells. Throughout the entire trip I thought a) the boat's bow would crack and b) I'd lose my lunch and c) snap my neck from whiplash. Land lubber gringos. Shhesh.
