pro mods

I doubt Jeff approves, but what is one to do when one of your bikes uses twist shifters, but the only grips you have are for trigger shifters?

Simple: break out the pro-modification tools.

We're running Ergon grips and gloves next week at La Ruta, so they're going on all of the 26" bikes here at the casa. I just need to find out which recycling bin to put the extra grip pieces into. Maybe I can make a nice wind chime...

Today I bumped into Doug and Evan. Its always nice to have the locals showcase their favorite roads, though 3 is probably the most awkward number of riders to manage. Its taking me awhile to become re-accustomed to riding without shoulders or bike lanes. I feel really exposed on the left side of the white line, and while most of the rides are on low-traffic roads, and most drivers careful and courteous, once you have your own space, its hard to give it up....I guess that goes for several situations, no?

I dare Shriver to race the Portland Grandprix race in his tighty whitey outfit like this one.

That's what I would have told you to do anyway. It's all good....and custom cut for your pleasure.

Ya like this one enough to post it twice, eh?

I've got some extra Ergon grip pieces too, maybe we can combine them for the mother of all wind chimes.
