Jungle Living.

Well I think everyone is here finally, except for those that were flying today (thurs) - Harriet and Blake have been caught up in the delays that are wrecking havoc in the US...so to enjoy PR a little bit extra for them I snorkled for at least 3 miles today since that's all I can do really without some level of pain.

The JHK's made it and we got our burn on together on the beach then had $2.25 beans and rice...but not before Wells and I did the Dumb and Dumber action on Aldy's scooter...a scooter built for one with two guys on it. I made Wells put his shirt on if he was going to ride beeeeotch on the back. He got me back though b/c I had to commute 20min back to Mayaguez in a tropical downpour that flooded the streets and stung my arms. At least I didn't hit any dogs.

I may attempt to ride a bit on Friday, but standing up only. That won't be too much of a challenge since every road is at least 20% gradient around these parts....but I might have to walk the bike back down the hills for fear of EL LOCO PERRO!

I can't seem to upload any of my "diving videos" or flickr photos with the current wireless connection I'm on. Maybe its because I'm typing with prunned hands from a)sweating. b)being in the ocean all day. c)scootering in the rain.

Speaking of scootering, I almost lost my Puerto Rican driving priviledges today for breaking two of the #1 rules of driving here - I used my blinker while also using common sense by driving safely in the rain. Those kinds of things will get you put in jail.
