premonition

I knew it. I just knew it. Last night I dreamt that USADA would come to the house, and, because we never have unexpected vistors, such that I've never heard the door knock and don't even know if we have a door bell, in my dream I was stressing b/c I knew they were coming and wondering how I'd know of their arrival.

In Durango, you know when the Vampires are in town, b/c they make their rounds though the assemblage of pros that fester and clog up the city's streets. But in Park City, I'm the only idiot on two wheels, plus all of the skiers worth testing are in Italy at the Olympics. I think basically the testers were bored.

So when my phone rang with distinctive "no ID" ring at 7am, I knew. I let it go to voice mail and 2 min later Harriet's phone rang....so I really knew.

They couldn't find the house.

So I got out of bed and ventured out into the sub-freezing tempts to escort them to my mountain chalet...let the testing begin!

Luckily I had done my homework and required reading the night before.

FYI, photos are discouraged when USADA's in the house. They're sort of like an undercover DEA agent who's identity is never to be revealed.
